FORMATS

Sample Libraries and Virtual Instruments come in a variety of file formats. For sample libraries, your DAW will import a file format such as WAV, Apple Loops, REX, etc. For Virtual Instruments and loop-playback plugins, there are proprietary files commonly called an instrument or a patch. If you are using Kontakt, UVI, KLI, Maschine, or any other sample or plugin, you must select the format that is compatible with your software. Each Big Fish Audio product page displays an "Included Format" to help you make your selection.
